Role Overview:
As a Marketing Intern, you will support the growth of our online English practice platform for primary (PSLE) and secondary (O Level) students. You will work closely with the founding team to develop and execute marketing strategies that engage parents and students, drive user acquisition, and build brand awareness. This is a hands-on role that requires creativity, strategic thinking, and a passion for education.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Social Media Management:
- Create engaging, educational, and platform-specific content (e.g., short videos, infographics, and blog posts) for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook).
- Schedule and manage posts, stories, and ads to maintain consistent brand presence.
- Respond to comments and messages to foster community engagement.
Campaign Support and Marketing Analytics:
- Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email newsletters, paid ads, and influencer partnerships.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, suggesting improvements based on data insights.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to refine messaging and positioning.
- Gather feedback from parents and students to identify pain points and potential product improvements.
Collaborations and Community Building:
- Identify and collaborate with parent-focused communities, influencers, and education platforms to expand reach.
- Organize online events, webinars, and contests to engage users and build brand loyalty.
Copywriting and Messaging:
- Craft compelling, clear, and concise copy for marketing materials, landing pages, and social media ads.
- Ensure messaging is tailored to the needs and concerns of parents (primary school) and students (secondary school).
Requirements:
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creative mindset with a passion for education and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
