The Marketing Science team is charged to unlock the full potential of businesses on Meta platforms by transforming advertising performance and industry practices through the use of data-driven analytical methods and performance expertise.The Marketing Science Partner will work with internal and external partners to demonstrate the ROI / Value of the platform, develop best practices for business performance and inform opportunity for product developmentThe Marketing Science Partner, Greater China role involves developing client relationships, engaging and influencing key clients in the region. They will be responsible for working with client teams in designing tests and analysing data sets to help understand and improve the effectiveness of their advertising across digital platforms and across media. The Marketing Science Partner will work in a complex environment with many stakeholders including sales, product, engineers, creative and marketing. Conclusions from this work will identify how a client can act to drive business impact. The Marketing Science Partner will be proactively identifying, scoping and implementing innovative solutions, facing learning, adapting to on-going Market, Clients, Company dynamics, while keeping focused on high impact projects.


Marketing Science Partner, Greater China Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Meta sales team to drive strategic relationships with Meta clients through analytics, measurement and 'learning agendas' that highlight how a client can improve business outcomes
  • Manage a complex set of client relationships across industry and client groups, functions, brands, agencies, to drive clients measurement objectives
  • Conduct in-depth custom analysis and ad effectiveness studies to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and across media
  • Communicate complex research/analytical results to general audience
  • Provide feedback to and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product and R&D to identify opportunities for new features, products and partnerships and drive client engagement, including products alphas and beta
  • Educate clients, agencies and the industry on measurement and research best practice
  • Work on publishing thought leadership pieces on 'measurement',best practice in measurement and performance marketing



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in data analysis in an online environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, an advanced degree in statistics, economics, data science, behavioral or social science or a related quantitative degree
  • Direct experience to initiate, scope and execute analytical projects from start to finish
  • Direct experience of analysing and manipulating data sets to understand patterns and provide client insights
  • Prove experience with communication skills to work cross-functionally and influence clients
  • Previous experience working with large data sets, statistical software such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, STATA and hive and /or SQL
  • Experience of the advertising industry (especially online) and measurement methods/technologies most commonly used (e.g. attribution)
  • Client-facing experience, including experience driving change through adoption of new products or research methods
  • Demonstrated experience in interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate technical content to general audience
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience of E-commerce industry
  • cross border or oversea market experience
  • Experience of leverage AI tools in business and analytical projects
