Mat Pilates Instructor

*Job Overview*

We are seeking a Group Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a commitment to helping members achieve their fitness goals through effective instruction and motivation. As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead group classes and educate members on proper techniques and body mechanics to enhance their overall fitness experience.

*Responsibilities*

- Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels. Classes are without reformers, only mat.

- Educate members on the principles of Pilates, including body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology to ensure safe practice.

- Monitor participants during classes, providing feedback and adjustments to improve form and technique.

- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages member participation and motivation.

*Experience*

- Previous experience as a Pilates Instructor or in a related fitness role is required.

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and sports coaching is highly desirable.

- Experience in other styles of group fitness instruction is a plus.

- Strong punctuality, communication skills.

Pay: $70.00 per hour
