Maternity Cover: Childcare Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Manager to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to lead a high-quality childcare service and ensure the best outcomes for children, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the childcare setting, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Lead and support a team of staff to provide high quality early years education and care
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Work in partnership with parents, carers, and external agenices.
• Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks effectively.
• Maintain record and uphold safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Revlevant qualifications in childcare/early years education (level 7/8).
• Experience in a managerial or leadership role within an early years setting (1year)
• Strong knowledge of the sector.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• A passion for early years education and child development.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: From €17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
