Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical systems, components, and installations to verify compliance with industry best practices and project requirements;
• Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records to support quality control and project reporting;
• Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and client representatives to address any issues or deviations from specifications;
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example in driving safe construction practices on site;
• Utilize effective project management and control systems to regularly report on progress and ensure timely project delivery;
• Review contractor method statements, evaluate claims, and contribute to design reviews to enhance constructability and mitigate risks;
• Mentor junior members of the construction supervision team, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector in the power plant sector, preferably with exposure to solar PV and battery energy storage systems
• Registered Mechanical Engineer with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license
• Strong technical knowledge of industry standards and mechanical engineering codes
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
