Medical Assistant

Our office seeks 2 talented office assistant to help in the front and back office . The successful candidate will prioritize accuracy and attention to detail, and will also be capable of performing office duties such as scheduling appointments, assisting therapy, helping doctors, giving office tours, taking vital signs, handling new and existing patients, and data entry. We're looking for a back office assistant who can confidently manage details, smile through any complications, and take initiative at all times. Bilingual - Spanish is helpful but not necessary. Must have worked in Doctors Office previously

Responsibilities:

Answer the phone promptly.

Data Entry

• Answer basic medical questions in person and over the phone.
• Assist with patient paperwork, scanning, and filing.
• Keep accurate records of patient visits.
• Answer questions for patients and their families.
• Be courteous and professional at all times.
• Be knowledgeable of office policies and procedures.
• Take messages.
• Assist patients to exam rooms
• Medical Billing Knowledge helpful
• Call in Prescriptions
• Will train

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
