Duties

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care
• Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient information, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and updating medical histories.
• Support hospital medicine units or outpatient clinics by coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments, and managing medical supplies
• Perform basic physiology and anatomy assessments to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols for inpatient or outpatient care.
• Support medical staff with administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and documentation of ICD codes for billing purposes.

Experience

• Hands-on clinic experience in outpatient or inpatient environments across specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation and efficient workflow.
• Demonstrated ability to perform intake assessments, vital sign collection, and basic physiology evaluations confidently.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
