Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with intake procedures to ensure accurate documentation.
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including medication administration, wound care
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient information, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and updating medical histories.
- Support hospital medicine units or outpatient clinics by coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments, and managing medical supplies
- Perform basic physiology and anatomy assessments to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols for inpatient or outpatient care.
- Support medical staff with administrative duties such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and documentation of ICD codes for billing purposes.
Experience
- Hands-on clinic experience in outpatient or inpatient environments across specialties including internal medicine, geriatrics
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation and efficient workflow.
- Demonstrated ability to perform intake assessments, vital sign collection, and basic physiology evaluations confidently.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to ensure readiness for emergency situations.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
