Mgr / Snr Mgr, Finance (Procurement)

[What the role is]

The incumbent will be part of the Finance team involved in the full spectrum of procurement function and also undertake finance business partnering role to advise line departments on procurement, finance and budgeting matters.

Procurement function

• Regular review of procurement policies and guidelines

• Evaluate procurement requests

• Provide guidance to line departments and Finance team members on procurement matters

• Identify and propose process improvements

• Support system enhancements

Business Partnering

• Partner internal stakeholders on financial operations, budgeting and resource management matters

• Advise internal stakeholders on compliance with financial and procurement regulations and guidelines

Finance function

• Contribute to timely month-end closing and prepare / review financial schedules

• Compile and submit ad-hoc returns to government entities

• Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Government Instruction Manual on Procurement

• Financial management knowledge and experience

• Previous experience in business partnering roles
