Multiskilled Labourer/Operator

With a strong reputation for delivering complex projects safely and efficiently, we are currently seeking Multiskilled Labourers / Operators to join our team for works based in Altona, Victoria.

This is a local position offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work as part of a professional and experienced project team.

Description:
Working as part of our site team, you will support daily project operations across a range of demolition and industrial site activities. The role will involve general labouring, equipment operation (where licensed) and assisting the broader team to deliver works safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Multiskilled Labourer / Operator, you will play an important role supporting our demolition and industrial works while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting demolition, remediation and general industrial site works
• Assisting operators, trades and supervisors with daily site activities
• Moving and handling materials, tools and equipment around the work area
• Assisting with demolition and strip-out tasks under supervision
• Supporting lifting activities and dogging operations where required
• Operating equipment such as telehandlers where appropriately licensed
• Helping set up work areas including barricades, signage and exclusion zones
• Supporting safe plant movements by acting as a spotter when required
• Maintaining clean and organised work areas through good housekeeping practices
• Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment deliveries
• Participating in daily pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
• Following all site safety procedures, permits and work instructions
• Wearing and maintaining correct PPE at all times
• Identifying hazards and reporting any safety concerns to supervisors
• Working collaboratively with the project team to keep works progressing safely

Skills and Experiences:
Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must hold:

• Telehandler Licence (TV) – HRWL
• Dogman Licence (DG) – HRWL
• Working at Heights Ticket

Highly Regarded

The following licences will be advantageous:

• Crane up to 100t (C1) – HRWL
• Intermediate Rigger (RI) – HRWL
• EWP Licence (WP) – HRWL

Roster & Location

• Location: Altona, Victoria
• Roster: Monday to Saturday
• Hours: 10 hours per day
• Local position – no travel required
