NCHD HOSPITAL LIAISON ASSISTANT
Permanent Full Time Post - 35 hours per week
Salary: Commencing at €35,500 gross per annum pro rata
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the full-time permanent role of NCHD Hospital Liaison Assistant based in Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. The role will primarily include the management and co-ordination of the Medical/Surgical NCHDs in the Hospital. The post-holder will work and deliver on ensuring the Quality & Risk, Health & Safety, Human Resources and Education/Continuous Professional Development requirements both regulatory and non-regulatory of the NCHDs within the Hospital. The post holder will report directly to the Supervising Consultant of the NCHDs.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements at a minimum:
- Third Level Management/Business Qualification essential
- Minimum five years experience in a managerial/business operations role essential
- Fluency in languages is highly desirable
- Knowledge and links with international academic and training facilities is highly desirable
- Strong leadership skills essential
- Proven ability in the areas of change management, resource management, conflict resolution, quality and safety management, problem solving and operational planning
- Practical experience of hospital information systems desirable
- Strong proficiency in IT literacy is essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in providing a quality service provision
