Role Overview

The NetSuite Practice Manager is a senior techno-functional leader responsible for building, growing, and delivering AlphaBOLD’s NetSuite practice. This role combines practice leadership, pre-sales solution architecture, and delivery oversight, while remaining hands-on in key client and sales engagements. The ideal candidate bridges business and technology, translating client needs into scalable NetSuite solutions and ensuring commercial success, delivery quality, and long-term client value.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Growth

  • Own and grow the NetSuite practice strategy, capabilities, and offerings.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Drive practice performance across revenue, margin, utilization, and capacity.
  • Develop reusable assets, methodologies, and industry solutions.

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

  • Lead NetSuite sales pursuits from discovery through proposal and SOW.
  • Translate business requirements into solution architecture and implementation approach.
  • Define scope, estimates, risks, assumptions, and delivery approach.
  • Support executive presentations, demos, and client workshops.
  • Identify expansion and optimization opportunities within accounts.

NetSuite Expertise & Architecture

  • Serve as a senior advisor across core NetSuite processes (R2R, O2C, P2P, Inventory, Manufacturing, Financials).
  • Guide solution decisions across configuration, customization, integration, and automation.
  • Ensure scalable and maintainable architecture aligned with NetSuite best practices.
  • Provide governance on integration and SuiteCloud-related decisions.

Delivery Oversight & Client Leadership

  • Oversee delivery quality across NetSuite projects and engagements.
  • Act as escalation point for complex client or project issues.
  • Ensure alignment between scope, budget, timeline, and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with delivery teams to manage risks, dependencies, and execution health.

Hands-On Contribution

  • Step into critical sales or delivery situations when needed.
  • Lead workshops, solution design sessions, and executive discussions.
  • Review key deliverables (designs, estimates, plans, and proposals).
  • Support troubleshooting and complex solution analysis.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor NetSuite consultants and technical teams.
  • Support hiring, coaching, and capability development.
  • Promote delivery consistency and consulting excellence.
  • Foster collaboration across distributed teams.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with NetSuite capabilities, ERP trends, and integration technologies.
  • Improve delivery methodology, templates, and reusable assets.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and practice enablement.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in cloud ERP implementations, at least 5 years with a NetSuite focus.
  • Experience leading full-cycle NetSuite implementations.
  • Strong hands-on techno-functional expertise across NetSuite ERP processes and modules (configuration, workflows, reporting, scripting and integrations).
  • Proven pre-sales experience (discovery, solution design, estimation, demos).
  • Experience managing distributed delivery teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite certification (ERP Consultant, App Developer, etc.).
  • Prior experience working with common SuiteApps and partners (Avalara, RF Smart, RAMP, Bill.com, SPS Commerce, True Commerce, etc.)
  • In depth experience with multiple Advanced NetSuite modules (ARM, AMFG, NSPB, NSAW)
  • Experience in managed services or post-implementation advisory.
  • Experience improving practice KPIs and delivery frameworks.
