Network & Systems Engineer

Job Description:

Rack/stack IT and Network Equipment

Installation/configuration of various OS (Windows, Linux, Vmware)

Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones

Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.

Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team

Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.

*Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

*Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches

*Must be able to configure/setup Fortigate Firewall (Standalone or HA mode)

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Must be able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall

3 – 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Possess initiative with positive working attitudes

Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work after office hours/weekend for systems preventive maintenance.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
