Night Porter

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Porter to join our team at The Village Rooms, Bar & Kitchen. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards, ensuring guest satisfaction, and keeping operations running smoothly through the night.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and reset the bar thoroughly each night, following a detailed checklist
• Provide a friendly and professional welcome to late-arriving guests
• Ensure the security and safety of the hotel throughout the night
• Carry out regular checks of the premises
• Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas, bar, and restaurant after closing
• Support the smooth handover to the morning team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality or a similar role preferred, but not essential
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
• Professional and courteous
• Good communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From €14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• East Village, Douglas, CO. Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
