Night Porter Full-Time Role

We are a 30 Bedroom Boutique hotel committed to delivering exceptional and unforgettable experiences to our guests. Work-Life Balance:

At Avalon House Hotel, we care about the well-being of our team members. To promote a healthier work-life balance, we've adopted a unique schedule. You'll work three 12-hour shifts (8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.) one week and four 12-hour shifts the following week. This rotation provides three days off one week and four days off the next, with every second weekend off.

Key Responsibilities:

Warm Guest Greetings: Provide friendly, efficient, and professional greetings to all our guests, ensuring a memorable first impression.

SOP Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Front Office, including guest check-in and check-out processes.

Efficient Communication: Answer hotel telephone calls and direct them appropriately, addressing any queries during your shift.

Security and Property Oversight: Take responsibility for hotel security, guest safety, and property during your night shift.

Meeting Room Preparation: Prepare meeting rooms for the following day, ensuring they are set up to meet guests' requirements.

Public Area Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning of public areas to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Team Support: Collaborate with other hotel departments and offer support during the night shift.

Requirements:

Customer-Centric: Exhibit a professional, friendly approach with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.

Team Player: Thrive in a team environment and possess exceptional multitasking abilities.

Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail with strong leadership, communication, and time management skills.

Language Proficiency: Exhibit an excellent level of spoken English.

Night Owl: Comfortable with night shifts as this position requires night work.
