Devoy’s Boutique Hotel is now recruiting a Night Porter with bar experience to join our opening team.

This is a key role within the hotel, ensuring the smooth running of the property during evening and overnight hours, while also supporting bar operations and guest service when required.

We are looking for someone responsible, trustworthy, guest-focused, and confident working independently. Previous experience in hotels, bars, or late-night hospitality operations is essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the hotel during night shifts
Ensuring guest safety, comfort, and excellent service overnight
Supporting bar service and closing procedures
Handling late check-ins, guest queries, and any issues that arise
Carrying out night audit and basic reporting duties where required
Maintaining security and operational standards throughout the property
Supporting cleaning, set-up, and handover procedures for the next day
Working closely with the management team to ensure smooth communication between shifts

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous hotel, bar, or night management experience
Strong bar knowledge and confidence with service standards
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
A calm and professional manner
The ability to work independently and take responsibility
Good attention to detail
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and late shifts
Reliability and a strong sense of ownership

Pay: €31,000.00-€36,000.00 per year
