Position: Full-time or Part-time Nurse Practitioner
Location: Fully remote (New Zealand nationwide)

About the Role
Join our innovative telehealth team at FasTreat to deliver expert virtual care for mental health concerns, with a focus on adult ADHD assessments, diagnosis, and management. You'll work autonomously from home, providing rapid, evidence-based consultations via our secure platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape mental health access in Aotearoa while enjoying flexible hours and high remuneration.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out comprehensive virtual assessments for ADHD using DSM-5/ICD-11 criteria, validated rating scales, and clinical interviews.
Diagnose ADHD, develop personalised treatment plans, and prescribe medications (including stimulants for adults per current guidelines).
Provide follow-up care, medication reviews, and adjustments, ensuring safe and effective ongoing management.
Collaborate with patients' whānau, GPs, and our international team; share consult notes as required.
Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, delivering culturally safe care with sensitivity to Māori and Pacific contexts.
Maintain accurate electronic records and adhere to privacy standards (Health Information Privacy Code 2020).
Qualifications and Experience
Registration:Registered Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ); current Annual Practising Certificate (APC); Master's-level qualification in advanced nursing practice with prescribing endorsement.
Experience:Minimum 3-4 years' full-time equivalent in mental health/psychiatric nursing; proven expertise in ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Skills:Advanced clinical assessment; telehealth proficiency (video consults, digital tools); prescribing competencies for psychotropics.
Other:Right to live and work in New Zealand; reliable home office setup with secure internet; commitment to ethical, patient-centred practice.
Preferred Experience (Bonus Points)
Experience in weight management, hair loss treatments, or hormone therapy (e.g., menopause, transgender care).
Multilingual skills (e.g., te reo Māori, Pacific languages, Mandarin, or others) to support diverse patients.
Prior work in online clinics or rapid-access services.
