Main Line Health’s Nurse Residency Program
Main Line Health’s Nurse Residency Program is a year-long initiative designed to support and guide new graduate nurses as they begin their first professional role. The program emphasizes the development of clinical skills, patient-driven outcomes, and professional growth. The curriculum fosters critical thinking and helps new nurses use data-driven outcomes to enhance patient safety and care quality.
As a newly licensed registered nurse in this full-time position, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay, and shift differential. The program includes a precepted orientation tailored to the specific clinical specialty and the individual learning needs of each participant. Throughout this transition, ongoing supervision, training, and educational opportunities will be available.
- Employment start dates: July 2026 to September 2026 pending RN license status.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or soon-to-be graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ASN, or BSN), with graduation occurring within the past 12 months or within the next 6 months.
- Eligibility is based on the graduation date from your initial nursing program, which qualified you to sit for the NCLEX exam.
- Diploma and ASN graduates must be actively enrolled in a BSN program within 6 months of their employment start date and must successfully obtain a BSN within 3 years of their employment start date.
- A preferred cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
Main Line Health Hospital location:
- Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital - Acquired Brain Injury Unit
Shift/Hours:
- Full Time: 36 hours per week
- Must be able to work full time night shift.
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts.
- Weekend requirement: will not exceed every other weekend, based on unit needs.
- Holidays: Varied, depending on unit schedule.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $44.00 per hour, plus shift differential.
Benefits:
Eligible for full-time benefits coverage.
