Job Summary
We are seeking a personable, motivated, organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the ministries and programs of our church through publications, financial processing, member relations, and more. This position requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming personality, a team-oriented mindset, and the ability to effectively and efficiently multitask. The Office Administrator will be responsible for supporting church staff, leadership, and members, ensuring that all office functions run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for all members and guests, demonstrating excellent phone and interpersonal etiquette.
- Manage and maintain calendars, scheduling building usage for church activities, outside groups, and more.
- Use Office365 programs, prepare, publish and distribute weekly, monthly and periodic publications that are clear, organized and inviting.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping tasks and financial record keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations, and support various ministries and programs as needed.
- Maintain office supplies inventory, place orders when necessary, and coordinate with vendors and service providers.
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous experience in an office administration role is preferred.
- Computer proficiency, with specific experience with Office365 (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Publisher) and QuickBooks or similar bill-pay and accounting software.
- Ability to clearly communicate in both verbal and written forms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on confidentiality and providing support in a professional manner.
- Full range of motion with ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $32,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 per week
