Job Description
An internship with Intel of Canada's Intel Foundry Services group is a challenging and rewarding experience, allowing you to gain knowledge and experience in on-site support, student recruiting, gauging employee feedback and event planning. We are a small, dedicated operations team supporting site functions. This position is for an 8-month term, with potential to extend to 1 year.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
General administrative and front desk duties: Vendor management, badge management, various email, scheduling meetings and interviews, and follow up related tasks.
Assisting in coordination of recruiting events.
Leading the coop engagement program.
Office planning and organization
Assisting in planning and execution of site wide events.
Developing new and audit current procedures to create BKMs (best known methods) in coordination with the operations team.
Communicating effectively to maintain positive relations with internal departments.
Effectively track in office employees and maintain spreadsheets to capture data.
Assisting as required in on-boarding of new employees.
General operations support and documentation.
We are looking for enthusiastic students with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving ability, and a desire to learn. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in their work and is willing to approach problems with creative solutions.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or other related field.
Minimum 6 months of experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
