Description:
Quick overview of the role

Working as part of the team in our Caloundra branch, you will operate all machinery, produce goods, prepare and build loads and ensure that all loads are quality inspected and tagged while committing to your safety and that of the team.

• Monitor production output and adjust settings to maintain accuracy, quality, and efficiency
• Complete pre-start checks and ensure all equipment is safe, ready, and compliant
• Operate machinery safely in line with procedures and safety standards
• Load/unload steel, set bend angles, and run controls for precision fabrication
• Inspect finished product for defects and ensure quality compliance standards are met
• Identify, tag, and isolate non-conforming materials
• Organise, rack, and prepare finished product for dispatch in line with schedule

Skills and Experiences:

• Physically fit and able to operate machinery
• Interest in machinery and production
• Ability to always follow safety procedures
• Ability to communicate well and work in a team
• Forklift license highly regarded
