Painter And Decorator

Duties:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes
- Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Follow schematics and blueprint reading to ensure accurate application of paint
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Repair and patch damaged areas prior to painting
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed during painting processes
- Communicate with clients to understand their painting needs and provide excellent customer service
- Work on both residential and industrial painting projects
- Operate rigging equipment as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Proficiency in using power tools and other painting equipment
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of different paint types, finishes, and application techniques
- Understanding of safety protocols related to painting activities
- Carpentry skills are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
