Position Overview:??

We are seeking a talented Paralegal with 8+ years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The legal assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys, maintaining case files, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our litigation team.?

What you'll do:?

• Act as liaison among all parties including courts and other neutral parties.?

• Review, organize, and maintain case materials.?

• Perform case-related research.?

• Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, other legal documents.?

• Coordinate the collection, review and production of documents and discovery requests.?

• Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial.?

• Assist with trial preparation including preparation of exhibits, witness binders and other demonstrative evidence for use at trial and court hearings.?

• Calendaring and scheduling depositions, hearings, mediations and other meetings as needed.?

Our ideal candidate:?

• Associate’s Degree or Certificate in Paralegal Studies (preferred)?

• 8+ years of relevant experience as a paralegal with a focus on litigation??

• Experience and knowledge of Washington, Oregon, and Federal court procedures and filings.

• First Party Property Insurance or other insurance litigation (a plus)??

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, document management and client management software systems?

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills?

• Organized & detail-oriented?
