Part-Time Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled barista to join our team. The position is Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m to 12 p.m. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baked goods, coffee and providing excellent customer service.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS WILLING TO COMMIT TO A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS.

Duties:

• Employee would be responsible for serving customers.
• Making espresso drinks and brewing coffee.
• Cutting cakes, tarts, and pies, boxing and bagging items.
• Handling each transaction with the utmost accuracy.
• Providing eager & upbeat customer service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service role is required.
• Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Being a coachable person who is receptive to feedback from owners.

Benefits:
- $19-$20/hour + tips (averages $7-$8/hour)
-Over two weeks of paid vacation (when the bakery closes for a week in July and December through New Years).
