Part‑Time Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator (Hybrid) – Irish SME
Location: Hybrid (Dublin-based) Hours: Part‑time (flexible) Company: Growing Irish SME
We are an established and expanding Irish SME seeking a reliable, detail‑driven Bookkeeper / Finance Administrator to support our day‑to‑day finance operations. This is a part‑time hybrid role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working closely with a small, supportive team.
About the Role
You will take ownership of core bookkeeping and finance administration tasks, ensuring the smooth running of our financial processes. The role is hands‑on and well‑suited to someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll processing (monthly/weekly depending on business needs)
- Aged payables & aged receivables management, including reconciliations
- Credit control, including issuing reminders and managing overdue accounts
- Purchase Order (PO) management and matching POs to invoices
- Invoice lifecycle management from receipt to approval to payment
- Grant claim preparation and submissions
- Phone account management and general supplier account oversight
- Supporting month‑end processes and liaising with external accountants as required
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal procedures
About You
- Experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, or a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (specifically Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Knowledge of Irish payroll and tax processes is an advantage
