Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, courteous assistance with their inquiries or requests by phone, email or in person.
• Handle customer transactions accurately using cash handling and basic math skills
• Communicate with delivery drivers
• Maintain cleanliness of the facility by performing routine cleaning tasks and ensuring a tidy environment
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and organizing customer areas
• Support with applying payments, classified sales and circulation sales
• Address customer concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is highly preferred, providing familiarity with customer service standards
• Experience in handling complaints and sales
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts
• Strong commuication skills online as well as in person
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to lift bundles and perform physical tasks related to cleaning and organizing
• Fixed hours Monday through Friday 8:30-1:30
• Ability to work unsupervised in a quiet environment
