Part Time Delivery Driver

We are currently recruiting for a PART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER to join the team at our Tralee Branch.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, our new Driver will be enthusiastic person who enjoys interacting with people, places strong value on exceptional customer service and someone who enjoys driving for this role. Success in this role will also require someone who can work well on their own initiative.

The role incorporates a strong emphasis on work life balance. You will have:

· No weekend working in this role.

· No Public Holiday working in this role.

· An attractive annual leave allowance offered annually.

· A 27-hour working week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times in keeping with the Pat McDonnell ethos and standards.

- Promote a positive and professional Company image internally and externally.

- Complete appropriate vehicle checks at the beginning and completion of each shift.

- Report, without delay, any vehicle defects.

- Ensure the load is safe for transit & secure appropriately to avoid damage to the truck or the goods.

- Conduct depot to depot drops, and multi-drops, in line with operational requirements.

- Be professional at all times.

- Adhere to road safety legislation at all times

- Assist in the Warehouse during busy periods.

Key Requirements

You will:

- have 2+ years of experience in a similar role.

- be required to hold a full clean Irish or European driving licence.

- be a fluent English speaker.

- be capable of working as part of a team.

- be flexible in terms of working hours, as work can include early mornings.

- have the ability to work under pressure and to a tight schedule.
