Part Time Floater

Job Title: Floater

Position Summary: We are seeking reliable, caring, and energetic Substitute Daycare Teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. This role includes supervising children, supporting their developmental needs, and assisting with daily classroom routines and activities.

Duties:

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well being of children at all times
• Follow the established lesson plans and routines provided by the lead teacher or center director
• Engage children in age appropriate activities including play, storytelling, arts & crafts, and group learning
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Assist with meals, diapering, potty training, and other caregiving tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively and positively with children, staff, and parents
• Follow all center policies, procedures, and licensing regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt quickly to a new classroom environment
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
