Part Time Hr Advisor

About Us

We are a growing and well-established engineering company with a team of 15 employees, working across a range of projects throughout Ireland. As the business continues to grow, we are looking to bring in an experienced HR professional to support and develop our people processes.

The Role

This is a standalone, hands-on HR role where you will take ownership of all HR activities across the business. You will work closely with management to provide practical support, improve processes, and help manage employee matters in a straightforward and professional way.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing all day-to-day HR activities

Supporting managers with employee relations, including disciplinaries, performance, and workplace issues

Advising on HR best practice and employment law

Developing and improving HR policies and procedures

Managing recruitment, onboarding, and issuing contracts

Overseeing employee training and certification (tracking and renewals)

Coordinating performance reviews

Supporting salary reviews and pay decisions

Ensuring compliance with Irish employment legislation

What We’re Looking For

4+ years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR advisory role

Strong employee relations experience

Good knowledge of Irish employment law

Practical, hands-on approach with good judgement

Comfortable working independently in a small business environment

Experience in construction, engineering or similar an advantage
