Part Time Leashed Dog Walker

Happy Hounds is looking for a dependable, adaptable dog lover to join our team as a part-time dog walker. This role is perfect for someone who wants flexible daytime hours, loves exploring different neighborhoods, and feels at ease working one-on-one with dogs. This position also includes occasional check ins for clients who needs quick visits, feeding, or potty breaks.

Position Details

· 10–15 hours per week (hours vary week to week)

· Must be available between 8am–4pm, Monday–Friday

· Mileage compensation provided

· Walk dogs in various parts of Barrie and some surrounding areas

· Must be comfortable walking 2 dogs at a time

Requirements

· Must be willing and able to drive in all weather conditions

· Comfortable traveling to different locations throughout the day

· Adaptable, punctual, and able to independently manage a changing schedule

· Experience not required, but you must have worked with dogs in some capacity (personal, volunteer, work, shelter, etc.)

· Ability to read dog body language and maintain safe walks

· A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

· A working cell phone
