Schedule: Flexible / On-Call Availability Required (if you do not have availability to be on call between the hours of 3-11pm at night, please do not apply. Normally the schedule is planned, however there may be a last call in once in a while. This position REQUIRES availability between the hours of 3pm-11pm)

Location: Multiple Job Sites

I have contracts in Detroit, Rochester Hills, Taylor, Allen Park, Troy, Northville, Brighton, Waterford, and Farmington Hills. Please don't apply if you are not okay with driving to these locations at least once a month.

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and flexible Part-Time Operations Assistant to support the owner of a janitorial services company. This role involves assisting with operational tasks, such as dropping off supplies, driving to different locations and doing quality checks at job sites, supporting staff at multiple job sites, and being available on an on-call basis when coverage or assistance is needed. The ideal candidate would be trained in every location to assist with call ins.

The ideal candidate is also dependable, adaptable, and able to delegate work tasks out with out being condescending. The ideal candidate would have supervisor and janitorial experience. The ideal candidate would also be interested in part time work only as this is not a full time job. The hours can range from 4 hrs a week to about 15 a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the owner with day-to-day operational tasks
• Provide on-site support at multiple cleaning locations when needed
• Fill in for staff when coverage is required
• Help ensure cleaning standards and job site expectations are met
• Help organize supplies and assist with inventory when needed
• Support special projects or last-minute operational needs

Requirements

• Flexible schedule with on-call availability is a must
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites
• Strong work ethic and dependability
• Ability to work independently and take direction when needed
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required
