Job Summary
Reporting to the Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, the Showroom Coordinator plays a pivotal role in creating an inviting and immersive experience for clients. This role is responsible for showcasing collections, guiding clients and providing expert advice on product features and customization options. The ideal candidate demonstrates passion for interior design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Job Functions
Product Knowledge and Operations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the full product range, stay informed about new releases and current design trends.
- Provide accurate and detailed information about product specifications, materials and finishes.
- Arrange and maintain showroom displays and ensure visual appeal and ease of navigation.
- Take ownership of showroom appearance by maintaining and upholding merchandising, cleanliness, and organizational standards.
- Assist in improving operational systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety standards.
Customer Service and Administrative Duties
- Manage incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Welcome walk-in clients understand their needs and conduct a tour of the showroom as required.
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives.
- Communicate product features and benefits in a clear and engaging manner.
- Connect with and follow up with customers through email, phone and in-person interactions.
- Participating in Product Knowledge sessions with vendors as required.
- Maintain overall showroom cleanliness and organization
- Manage the sample library and ensure materials are up to date.
- Support the coordination and execution of showroom events.
- Manage catering orders for events as needed.
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client and project manager inquiries.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with our Sales Representatives and other departments.
Skills Requirements - Assets
- Natural leadership skills.
- Keen eye for design and comfortable working with people.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Bilingualism.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
