Part Time Tutor

Luna Education is looking for passionate and dedicated part-time tutors to teach English and/or Mathematics to students from primary to secondary levels.

Subjects

English

• General English (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking)
• Academic Writing
• Vocabulary & Grammar Development
• TOEFL Preparation
• WIDA Preparation
• MAP Test Preparation
• CAT4 Test Preparation
• International School English Support

Mathematics

• Primary School Mathematics
• Secondary School Mathematics
• Exam Preparation and Academic Support
• International School Mathematics Support

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging online lessons
• Adapt lessons to students’ learning needs and goals
• Provide lesson feedback and progress updates
• Prepare teaching materials when required
• Maintain professional communication with students and parents

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in English and/or Mathematics
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Patient, responsible, and able to build rapport with students
• Familiarity with international school curricula is an advantage
• Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred but not required
• University students and graduates are welcome to apply

Availability

Preferred Teaching Hours

• Weekday evenings and nights
• Weekend mornings and afternoons

Flexible scheduling is available based on tutor and student availability.

Compensation

Competitive hourly rates based on qualifications, teaching experience, and subject expertise.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
