Midwest Janitorial Service (MJS) is hiring part-time weekend cleaners. If you’re looking to earn additional income—whether for a vacation, paying down debt, or supplementing retirement—this opportunity is designed to fit around your schedule.

Many of our team members work full-time jobs during the week and join us on evenings or weekends for extra income.

Schedule:
Saturday & Sunday | 10–12 hours per week

Position Overview

At MJS, we are committed to Protecting Health Through Clean. In this role, you’ll help maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for our clients and their occupants.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning and disinfecting
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Restroom and breakroom cleaning
• Dusting and trash removal
• Window cleaning (as needed)
• Restocking supplies
• Reporting maintenance or safety issues

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and lift 20–30 lbs
• Ability to remain on your feet for the duration of the shift

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to and from assigned facilities
• Ability to pass client-required background screening
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor and customer service skills
• Must follow all company safety policies

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cleaning experience (not required)

Compensation

Wages vary by facility. Some locations offer Performance & Attendance Bonuses, rewarding team members who deliver consistent, high-quality service.
