Parts Delivery Driver

Hoekstra Transportation is looking for a part time Delivery Driver!

Job Description:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for daily customer parts deliveries and picking up parts from local vendors. Our Deliver Driver role is an integral member of the Parts Team, ensuring exceptional customer service is delivered to all customers.

Essential Functions:

• Evaluate daily delivery requirements
• Safely driving to and from customer locations
• Pull parts from inventory to fill customer orders
• Package and prepare parts for delivery as needed
• Operate a forklift in a safe and effective manner as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Requires ability to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend or twist
• Requires ability to stand for long periods of time
• Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Requires normal color vision, good close-up vision, either normal or with corrective lenses
• Work performed mostly inside but do have to go outside at times with possible exposure to extreme weather
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Requires the ability to drive (Delivery Van)

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills
• Valid driver’s license
