Payroll Accountant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Accountant to join our CPA firm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to analyze financial data effectively.

Duties

• Prepare and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure all payroll-related accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Perform regulatory reporting related to payroll, including tax filings and other compliance documents.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end reports.

• Skills
• Proficiency in regulatory reporting requirements related to payroll processing.
• Experience with account reconciliation processes, particularly in relation to payroll accounts.
• Technical accounting skills, including proficiency in accounting software systems used for payroll management.
• Accounting experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
