Payroll Clerk

We are looking for a qualified Payroll Clerk to assist in all activities regarding the management of employee compensation in the company. You will undertake a variety of tasks, including auditing timesheets, entering time worked, and verifying schedules. The ideal payroll clerk must have a strong understanding of confidentiality. Must have data entry experience with attention to detail, and good math skills to make the necessary calculations.

Duties:

• Assist in producing various documents, reports, spreadsheets, etc.
• Maintain employee shifts worked and ensure proper procedures are in place for the safeguarding of confidential information.
• Responsible for printing, copying, filing, recordkeeping, and auditing timesheets.
• Data entry for time worked for all employees.
• Answer phones and reply to emails.
• Assist the Payroll Manager as the primary contact for employees.
• Other duties as required.
