In particular this role is to ensure Arup salary and wages and related payments are paid on time and accurately. Approx. 90
employees paid monthly.
The Opportunity
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly salary payment, including transaction entry, payment calculations, leave import and end of pay processing when required.
- Help with Co-ordinating reports with P&C for the administration of Purchased Annual Leave Scheme
- Salary and Wages journal preparation and entry into JDE accounting system as required
- The role will have extensive contact with our internal/external clients. Strong communication skills with an ability to explain payroll concepts to
all levels of staff. - The role will form part of a large regional Payroll team, collaboration, knowledge sharing and a willingness to learn and help is required.
Is this role right for you?
- Extensive experience in a similar payroll role. APAC experience is desirable.
- Relevant industry experience in payroll within a professional services business environment would be preferred.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines – and Arup’s related procedures including
OH&S. - Experience with Access EasyPay (Indonesia) or other large enterprise systems (such as Oracle).
