Job Overview: As a Payroll Officer, you will oversee comprehensive payroll processing for one of our Australian clients ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining employee records, resolving payroll discrepancies, and supporting administrative functions. Your contributions will directly support the organization’s commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, while fostering a culture of collaboration and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll transactions efficiently using SAP on a weekly basis.
• Input and maintain accurate daily timesheets for all employees.
• Manage and update wage and personnel records, ensuring data integrity.
• Verify payroll to ensure accurate payments and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
• Onboard new employees by setting up payroll data in the payroll system.
• Address payroll-related queries from site personnel in a timely manner.
• Administer monthly deductions, redundancy payments, and generate deduction reports.
• Perform general administrative duties related to payroll management.
• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including credit checks and collections of outstanding debts.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and relevant legislation.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, respect, and professionalism within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years in a payroll position or as Payroll Officer.
• Hands-on experience in supporting Australian clients in managing end-to-end payroll processes (required).
• Hands-on experience with SAP payroll systems is essential.
• Prior exposure to accounts receivable tasks, including credit checks and debt collections, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., creating and managing spreadsheets, using formulas).
• Familiarity with interpreting and applying awards, agreements, and relevant legislative requirements.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting payroll discrepancies and implementing corrective measures.
• Exceptional administrative and time-management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• High level of accuracy and thoroughness in maintaining payroll records and processing transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to handle payroll-related inquiries professionally.
• Must be willing to report onsite in Arcovia, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City.
