Overview:We’re looking for a People Experience Events Manager who thrives at the intersection of experience design and driving business outcomes. Someone who can turn People strategy into meaningful, outcome-driven in-person initiatives that matter, especially for teammates working from or visiting our Utah office.
This hybrid role is based out of our HQ office in Draper, Utah, the heartbeat of our company and home to our largest population of teammates (and our CEO!). You’ll own the local in-person experience, while also driving annual enterprise events around the country in high-density teammate hubs.
If you love building structured, high-impact programs that bring people together with purpose — you're our person.
What you’ll be doing
Design & Deliver Outcome-Driven Experiences
- Lead the design and execution of remarkable in-person events, constantly re-imagining ways to make moments, big and small, remarkable, memorable, and uniquely HealthEquity.
- Plan and execute regular new hire culture onboarding in Utah and partner with Learning & Development to ensure consistency, cultural integration, and mission alignment.
- Plan and execute high-impact, business-first in-person events that strengthen collaboration, drive engagement, and reinforce organizational alignment.
- Design experiences with clear intent and measurable impact, influencing outcomes such as collaboration, communication, values alignment, and teammate development.
- Own the Utah teammate experience strategy, scaling meaningful culture programming across a remote/hybrid workforce.
Enterprise & National Programming (The Strategic Kind)
- Develop and execute enterprise teammate events across high-density teammate hubs in the United States.
- Build scalable event frameworks, toolkits, and processes that help regional teams deliver aligned, outcome-driven in-person experiences.
- Measure program success using teammate insights and ROI reporting, presenting data-backed summaries to shape future events and strategy.
Support and Operations
- Partner in managing event and experience budget, vendor partnerships, and forecasting.
- Support and consult on planning and execution of ad hoc enterprise programs such as leadership summits and team meetings (in Utah or on location).
- Travel nationally as needed for event execution.
- Manage swag store operations including inventory, vendor relationships, and fulfillment, plus planning and execution of enterprise swag gifts tied to People and business initiatives.
- Consult on custom swag packages for team onsites, summits, anniversaries, onboarding cohorts, and internal campaigns to reinforce culture and recognition at scale.
What you will need to be successful
- 7+ years’ experience in enterprise-level corporate/business events, People (HR), workplace experience design, etc.
- Experience building and owning large-scale organizational or teammate experience programs.
- Proven ability to design outcome-driven teammate experiences and events that connect to People strategy or business goals.
- Comfortable managing budgets, vendors, program measurement, and cross-functional execution.
- Experience supporting remote-first or hybrid workplace culture programs.
- Must live within a commutable distance of Draper, Utah and work a hybrid schedule in office.
- Creative thinker — but structured, intentional, and execution-minded.
- Loves building connection at scale with purpose, not fluff.
- Strong project management and program discipline.
- Comfortable working across teams to deliver cohesive and aligned experiences.
- Enjoy iterating based on data and feedback.
- A natural fit for our Purple culture — collaborative, optimistic, intentional, and thoughtful in delivery.
