KNOW THE ROLE
Our HR department are looking for a People Intern to join their team in Limerick. This is a full time, fixed term contract.
This position is a first line support for all team member HR queries. Administrative duties include assisting with recruitment, learning and development, employee lifecycle administration and maintenance of the people team system.
- Administration of own buy and concession starters for Brown Thomas Arnotts in line with best practice and according to internal audit guidelines
- First line recruitment for retail roles
- Administration of job vacancy adverts on Core HR/Taleo
- Promote HR recruitment activity through key tools and technologies e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed etc
- Organise and manage administration of a range of learning and development, communication, and engagement processes
- Ensuring accuracy of People Team databases by daily maintenance
- Ensuring accuracy and security of physical files and data for HR categories at i.e., Own Buy & Concessions
- Support with HR Business Partner teams across a range of activities as deemed appropriate by HR Manager for professional development
- Assist HR Information Specialist with all HR system admin
- Support with HR projects as required
KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Third level qualification (or working towards same) in Human Resources Management or relevant field
- Proven experience in a relevant high volume administrative role, with a strong focus on compliance and customer service
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent working knowledge of HR systems, in particular Core HR
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail and consistent standards when dealing with high volumes of data and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident and respectful
- Adaptable yet service orientated with the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Highly organised and able to manage more than one project at a time
