Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Pest Control Technician and become a vital part of maintaining safe, pest-free environments for our clients. In this energetic role, you will assess pest issues, implement effective treatment plans, and provide exceptional customer service. Your expertise will help protect homes, businesses, and outdoor spaces from unwanted pests while promoting healthy landscapes and agricultural practices. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in pest management, lawn care, farming, landscaping, and the use of various tools and machinery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest infestations and potential risks.
- Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals and techniques, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment to perform treatments and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Provide expert advice to clients on pest prevention strategies, landscaping improvements, and sustainable farming practices.
- Drive company vehicles to different job sites while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Assist with lawn care, landscaping projects, or farming activities as needed to support overall property health.
- Keep detailed records of treatments performed, client interactions, and equipment maintenance for compliance and quality assurance.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pest control methods and products.
- Experience with lawn care, landscaping, agriculture or farming practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; comfortable driving company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of sales techniques to recommend services or products when appropriate.
- Physical stamina to perform inspections and treatments in various outdoor environments under different weather conditions. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
