Pharmacy Assistant (Full Time)

We are looking for an energetic and friendly Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing pharmacy team. The ideal candidate is someone who can proactively solve customer issues and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for assisting the staff Pharmacists and Pharmacy Manager with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Duties will include superior customer service, servicing the front counter, cashier duties, telephone inquiries and general housekeeping duties. Additionally, you will operate the pharmacy computer (Kroll software) and assist in the processing and preparation of prescriptions and blister packaging. Other responsibilities will include ordering and receiving drug orders and management of pharmacy inventory. • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, staff, & management
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm
• Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
• Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach
• Basic computer skills
• Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred
• Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred (Kroll software)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
