Pharmacy Sales Assistant

We currently have an exciting full-time position (four or five days, or 30 to 40 hours per week) for a pharmacy dispenser/sales assistant at our pharmacy in Quin, Co. Clare.

Depending on the candidate and their experience, the main duties of this role will include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Dispensing prescription medicines
• OTC sales and customer service
• Stock ordering
• Cash accounting procedures
• General housekeeping
• Any other duties where they arise

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. However, a background in pharmacy and/or retail sales would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will:

• Be required to work to the highest professional standards to deliver excellent customer care
• Be passionate about working in retail pharmacy
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with both customers and fellow staff members
• Have an ability to work on their own but also be a good team player
• Have strong attributes of taking responsibility, accountability and initiative.

Benefits

An attractive salary will be offered to the successful candidate. The hours of work are Monday to Saturday with one in two Saturdays off and no late nights, Sundays or public holidays.
