Pickup And Delivery Driver

Job Summary
As a Class 5 Driver, you’ll be responsible for conducting daily pickups of contaminated plastic containers—such as those used for oil and anti-freeze—throughout the NB and NS region for RPM ECO, a leader in recycling contaminated plastic materials

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations while on the road.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organization.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• Comfortable operating a 26–30 ft truck and trailer.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional conduct.
• Able to work independently, with diligence, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
