Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts, particularly in pizza preparation, and will be responsible for creating delicious, high-quality pizzas that meet our restaurant's standards. This role requires a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment.
- Assist with meal preparation and food preparation tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cooking role within the food industry is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety guidelines is essential.
- Experience with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards in food preparation.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others in the kitchen environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.40 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
