Platform Management Engineer (ArcSight)

CyberProof, a UST Company is hiring for a Platform Management Engineer with ArcSight skills who will be responsible for the administration, performance, and operational stability of the ArcSight SIEM platform. This role ensures high availability and supports SOC operations, incident response, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage ArcSight components end‑to‑end (ESM, Logger, Connectors, Management Center).
• Monitor platform health, performance, storage, and ingestion flows.
• Perform tuning, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Execute platform upgrades, patches, and version migrations.
• Ensure high availability, backups, DR readiness, and failover continuity.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and cloud teams on dependencies.

What you will bring:

• Strong hands‑on experience with ArcSight SIEM (ESM/Logger/Connectors).
• Solid Linux/Unix administration (RHEL/CentOS).
• Understanding of SIEM concepts, log management, and event correlation.
• Good knowledge of network/security fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, WAF.
• Scripting ability (Bash/Python) for automation.
• Familiarity with basic DB concepts (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning.

Desired Skills:

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud log ingestion.
• Knowledge of SOAR tools and integrations.
• Experience supporting SOC operations.
• Awareness of compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC2, PCI DSS, etc.).
