Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople and must be able to read blueprints and schematics effectively.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians to integrate plumbing systems with heating and cooling units.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines, costs, and necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Basic carpentry skills for integrating plumbing into building structures.
• Proficient in the use of power tools necessary for plumbing tasks.
• Ability to plumb various types of fixtures according to specifications.
• Competence in reading blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Valid commercial driving license preferred for transporting materials as needed.
• Basic math skills for measuring, calculating materials, and estimating costs.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
