About The Position

BGIS are seeking a Certifying & Qualified Plumber’s to join our growing maintenance team in Hawkes Bay. This hands-on role supports multiple commercial clients and contracts, delivering a mix of planned maintenance and reactive plumbing services.

We also welcome applications from individuals who have Completed their Pre-trade Certificate in Plumbing and are looking to commence their apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete plumbing maintenance and repairs across commercial properties
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, spouting, and downpipes
• Diagnose and fix water supply issues and infrastructure faults
• Use BGIS’s digital system for scheduling, job tracking, and documentation
• Ensure compliance by issuing relevant plumbing certifications
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining site safety standards

What You’ll Bring

• NZ Qualified Plumber with current registration and practising licence
• Proven experience in commercial plumbing maintenance and installations
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and installation skills
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations with proactive and safety-first mindset
• Competency with mobile work management systems and apps
• A Full (Class 1) New Zealand Driver Licence and reliable transport
