Private Equity Research Analyst - Internship: Bainbridge Capital Group

Pay Scale: 20.00-22.00 per hour

Expected Hours of Work: Full-time/Part-time (flexible)

Summary/Objective:

Interns gain valuable business knowledge as they participate in various aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, such as secondary source research, development of industry and company profiles, and other qualitative analysis. Financial modeling and deck creation are not used in this role.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in the development of a pipeline of companies that meet clients’ investment criteria
• Perform data gathering of prospective targets, industries, and markets via secondary source research
• Effectively communicate research results to the M&A team and contribute to the recommendations being made
• Analyze qualitative data to uncover industry, company, and market trends
• Collaborate with the team to qualify businesses to identify their divestiture posture, ownership structure, revenue, EBITDA, actionability and growth strategy
• Participate in the creation of written profiles on companies to present to potential buyers

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate of accredited college/university majoring in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related field
• Strong secondary research capabilities
• Solid attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with professional report creation
• Technical competence (Excel formatting capabilities)
• Strong written, verbal and active listening skills
• Proven problem solving skills
• Experience in a professional services firm preferred
• Willing to ask questions and communicate in an effective, professional manner
• Enjoys working on a team, as well as independently in remote environment
