Role Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced International Baccalaureate (IB) Science Tutor to support a student studying in an international school. The ideal tutor should be well-versed in IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)

Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Science subjects will be a strong advantage too.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured 1-to-1 lessons aligned with IB and/or AP science curriculum requirements
• Prepare students for internal assessments, lab reports, mock exams, IA/EE guidance, and school tests
• Identify learning gaps and tailor lessons to strengthen conceptual understanding
• Provide practice worksheets, exam-style questions, and progress updates to parents
• Support academic planning, revision schedules, and study techniques
• Build confidence and improve student performance through consistent coaching

Requirements

• Prior teaching experience with IB (MYP) students is mandatory
• Familiarity with AP science curriculum is highly preferred
• Strong academic background in Science
• Track record of improving student performance
• Patient, reliable, and able to commit to regular weekly sessions
• MOE teachers, ex-teachers, full-time tutors, and experienced private tutors are welcome
